The plasma machine is used for splitting or carving various shapes into the metal sheet when the product is not subjected to high demands in relation to accuracy. The perpendicularity of the cutter depends on the thickness of the material. Iron scales can be found on the product, if it is not subjected to further treatment.
Dimensional tolerances of carved shapes are as outlined in ISO 9013 IIB.
